Question 1 "“Hi Tom, this is a silly question…
but I am just curious, are you Korean? Do you speak Korean?
Thanks”
Answer: No, I am not Korean. But I am
fascinated with everything Korean (culture, history, food,
language, TV dramas, etc). I lived in Korea for a few years
back in the early 1990s. I learned to speak the Korean
language on a very basic level. I studied the Korean language
for a few semesters in college. My professor used a Korean TV
drama to help us learn the language. And that was it. I
was hooked on Korean TV dramas.
Question
2 “I'm looking forward to Jumong being released next
month. I have a question regarding the length of the episodes.
I've been following the forums for Jumong and what I read
doesn't necessarily match what I see on TV. Some of the
storyline I expected to see from what I read was cut out. Will
the episodes on the DVD be edited too? We're still watching it
here in HI and loving it. So sorry my question is so long.
THANKS!
Answer: I too am sooooo excited for our
upcoming Jumong release. We will divide up the 81 episodes
into four DVD boxsets (about 20 episodes per boxset). Our
Jumong release will be the "un-cut" / "un-edited" version. Our
DVD release will match exactly with the original broadcast
version in Korea.

Review from: Suite
101 Reviewer: Christine Miguel Title:
Lovers in Prague
Film actors plus a sophisticated
script - just when you think it's getting predictable, it
becomes unexpected. See what I mean in the Korean Drama -
Lovers In Prague. In Lovers In Prague, Foreign
affairs officer Jae-Hee (Jeon Do-Yeon) tries her best to keep
a low profile in Prague as the daughter of South Korean's
president. Putting her life back together after a painfully
silent separation from Young-woo (Kim Min Joon) was no easy
feat. Things take a turn for the unexpected when she meets
Sang-Hyeon (Kim Joo-Hyuk), a police sergeant who arrives in
Prague attempting to mend the broken relationship with his
girlfriend Hye-joo (Yoon Se-Ah).
This drama rates very
high on my list. In a similar comparison with My Lovely Sam
Soon, it matches film actors Jeon Do-Yeon and Kim Joo-Hyuk
(winner for the 2005 Baeksang Award for Best Actor in a TV
Drama) with a sophisticated script and plot elements that when
you think it's getting predictable, it becomes unexpected. Click

Talk Reviewer: Jeffrey
Robinson Title:Singles
The 2003 movie
Singles comes from South Korea and it is dubbed as the
Korean version of Sex in the City. The film is about four
single twenty-somethings who are quickly approaching thirty.
Life is about sex, work, friends, and trying to make something
of oneself before turning the big 3-0. The movie was very
popular; it was recognized at multiple international film
festivals.
Na Nan (Jang Jin-Young) is the primary
character. She is twenty-nine, and soon to be thirty. In the
beginning of the story, her life is almost perfect. She has a
great job; she is a fashion designer at a hip company called
1492. Her goal is to take the next step, which is tying the
knot with her boyfriend before she turns thirty.
Unfortunately, Nan's life comes crashing down--her boyfriend
dumps her for no good reason and she is demoted. Nan's new job
is manager at a Chili's restaurant, which is not the direction
she had hoped for her career. Click
